I've been working on this book FOREVER. I started it for school, but I am just now finishing it. I did enjoy it. I thought the dual POV was done well and I found the story and setting to be compelling. The character development was extremely well done. I was so impressed with how Abdel-Fattah portrayed Michael's reckoning with his parents' beliefs.

However, I didn't love the beginning of Mina and Michael's relationship. I thought that Mina was too quick to fall for Michael. I wished it was a slower burn.
