This books deals with serious issues, that need to be addressed more. There are very dark themes, be warned some of theme deals with generational trauma, child abuse and sexual assault. I loved watching the art grow as the story did

I was actually really disappointed with this one. I have heard such great things but not a single person thought to mention a really big content warning that I prefer to be warned about. I was expecting light and fluffy and this was not it.

The content warning is for dubious consent bordering on sexual assault between Persephone and Apollo. It made me so uncomfortable and I wouldn’t have picked this up at that specific moment if I had known.

I do have to say that the art is really beautiful and I will read volume 2 but I’d it does not get better I will be DNFing this series.
