A Welcome Reunion is a short story that takes place 11 years after the events of The Perfect Child. Janie is a 17 year old who has written about her life that has become an instant bestseller. Using the power of social media, and people’s obsession with true-crime she manages to get an interview with a tv journalist. She describes her life with the Bauer’s manipulating everyone and twisting the facts of what actually happened. Christoper & Hannah Bauer are disgusted. Piper the social worker who was assigned to her case long ago is equally dismayed. Unbeknownst to Christoper and Hannah however Janie has been communicating with Cole their now 13 year old son. And he has he own ideas about the fact that they kept him from his sister….

Another wild ride in this second installment!

As a follow up to The Perfect Child, this is kind of...underwhelming. I think that if it were a full length book it could be incredible but as an ending to the story I feel let down.
