Good amount of action and character growth. I liked how the trio worked together,  though Darius seemed like a 3rd wheel. Hoping Roger and Karen date.

Some forced plot points. Some incorrect grammar- 'pulled for 'pooled and misuse of me/I- which was annoying. Get an editor and proofreader.

Amazing

What a great ending! I was pleased to have Reagan throughout this book too. But Penny and Emery... I’m swooning so hard.

You will not be able to put this book down. Emery and Penny forever! This epic conclusion to the Magical Mayhem series HAS...IT...ALL!!! The battle scenes are bigger and more explosive and they happen frequently. I couldn't take a breath before the next danger appeared. We get to see Penny's magic reach even higher and more complex levels, which means the description of them just gets cooler and cooler (thanks, K.F. Breene). Also, a new character is introduced that you won't be able to forget. I can't wait for the author to write more in the DDVN world so we can see what else awaits us on this magical, amazing journey.

I love penny so much she is sweet and loyal and can be vicious when needed. It's great to see emery give in to their bond too. I'm so sorry to see their story finished but excited to see whose tale will be told next.

Another good one and a wrap to the couple becoming a dual mage partner. The battle was a little pushed too far but they did have to have a big conflict to deal with as the Mage's Guild have a lot of people under their thumb(s) and are quite corrupt.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job.

Better than the second. Penny is still annoying me with being uncertain and unable to control her magic but we get a lot of the shifters at the end, Reagan, a new druid, and some other interesting allies in a final battle that's kind of glorious. I can't wait for more of these books, curious where it's heading next.

This sat in my TBR pile for ages. I'm not sure why I didn't read it as soon as it was released, but I kept putting it off. This is the conclusion to the Magical Mayhem trilogy, featuring Natural Mage Penny. I love how self-deprecating and funny Penny is. Her friendship with Raegan (heroine of the first trilogy) and her every growing and changing relationship with Emery were great throughout the series.

This book brings together the last battle with the Mages Guild and has Penny and Emery working together more as a bonded pair. I liked the last battle and some of the new characters that were introduced. I'm interested to see where Breene goes with the world next.
