I think you can call Strife the book that is like a rest point. It builds up the next few stories for what is about to happen though nothing much really happens.
It's to get to know the characters better. Morgan with her parents and her sister and all that. The meeting parents thing with Hunter and of course to get to know Alisa a lot better.

In this part I really disliked Mary K. I think that's she is of course a loving friend towards Alisa but I think she is to selfish to Morgan. With all that Wicca things. However I wouldn't really know how I react or my little sister because something that extreem will never happen to me.

I also didn't like Erin. It's because she is old and knows so much and immediately thinks that she is always right. Morgan tells her everytime it wasn't her and in the end she wasn't but Erin doesn't believe her. Can someone explain to me how she could possibly be friends with Alyce?!

I look forward to the next because it's written through the eyes of Hunter.
And I'm going to miss Sky.

I read this series as a teenager and I am revisiting it.  I am enjoying them but they fly by.

seriously I am sad.
I started this series in 2012 and read the last book in 2013. Its 2016 and the only reason i bought this book is my curiosity.
You know these moments when you lay in bed and can not sleep and your thoughts wander and wander ...yeah i got this a lot with book series that i didn't finish like Sweep and House of night.
I am one of those readers who finishes a series no matter what but this year i learned that life's too short so it is a no from me...but only because I think I lost the connection to the whole serious.

I don't think that I will finish this books even though I remember enjoying the previous one.

Well, Morgan deals with uncontrollable magic in this who thinks she is not doing it but everyone believes she is the one. So we find out the truth who is behind it...Her father or someone else. it deal more with Alisa...more prejudicial views to wicca... Its an fast, emotional read.

Kind of slow. But given the length of these books, it's like one book wth action and one without and so on. Still interested on the story and how its going to continue.

After a long hiatus I came back to this series. So this will serve as a baseline to finish it, and it was a decent episode in the saga of Woodbanes in Widow's Vale.

Strange things are happening around Morgan – is she causing them or someone else? Not the best book in the series – too mixed up.
