What I thought was going to be a quick read, turned out to be a slow read because the narrator’s voice (for audio) was awful in my opinion. It was like listening to a boring news anchor- no inflection, no emotion, just monotone the ENTIRE TIME! The concept was alright, but the voice definitely deflated the “mystery/thriller” aspect. What saved this book from being a DNF was the plot twist of “who done it”:  

I had my money on Brady or Phillip but it was Harper who turned out to be her psychotic sister, who was pretending to be an admin/assistant to her and Phillip. Glad Brady was actually the good guy after all.

Aside from the main character this book had a lot of potential. But I felt like a lot of the choices she made were just so horribly stupid it made her unlovable as a character.

Like even if you thought someone could be framing you

…the choices she was making made her look awful. Straight dumb and you’re supposed to be a doctor ma’am? I felt like I was yelling at her the entire book. The overall storyline is actually good if you can get over the personality of the main character.

I like the way this book ended. Really good. Finding out some stuff about Nora was interesting. I did feel the same about her too. I like her character as well.  This was a fast book to read. Could you image trying to figure out who was trying to frame you while also being a surgeon? It would not look good at all. I like how everything came out.
