One of the best books I have read this year and by far one of the best autobiographies I have ever read. Doty takes the reader through a rollercoaster of a life and all the vulnerabilities that open new understandings at every turn. A beautiful book.

I loved it. I just don’t know if I really believed that it all happened like he said it did

If you’ve never read a book on the power of positive thinking and meditation then this is a great book but the marketing is bad. There was hardly any correlation between him as a neurosurgeon and what he has learned .

There’s very little neuroscience in here. But it’s a really nice memoir.
