Man, I've been consistently enjoying this series sm that it sucks to have to give the last book in the manga a 3 star rating when it's been consistently 4-5 for me. Aoki and Ida (my kids.) are still really adorable and I love the positive energy of their friend group so much. But in this last part, did the author really have to include that sike u thought moment? It ruined the vibes for me and was just so disappointing :( I wish it wasn't there.
Still planning to watch the live action sometime though.

Honestly, I was ready to throw hands - and my Kindle - when I saw the anmesia/9 years later storyline. I was ready to DNF this series on the final book, out of frustration for how long I'd waited for an HEA that was probably never going to come.
But it came. It was perfect. It was cute, funny and silly and lovely. All the things the entire series has been, until this final moment. And now that it's over, I'll need to come back to re-read it all in a few months. ;)

So the beginning was a lil traumatizing, but we built a bridge… then there was a Twilight-esque fade to black scene that made me want to hurl the book, so I crossed that bridge… now I realize that this is the LAST VOLUME!!! But but but but but whyyyyyyyyyy?
Aoki and Ida are the Nick and Charlie of manga. I’m really sad that their story is over and I want to punch something, cry and eat my feelings all at once. But I understand, I think. It felt like the author didn’t have any more ideas for how to keep it going. At least that’s how the author’s note at the end read. And we all need license to stop doing the things that don’t make us happy. I just wish that wasn’t My Love Mix-Up!!!!
