I don’t usually love friends to lovers but this one was so good. I just had to buy two of her other books. This was just fan flipping tastic! The spice didn’t need to be too graphic for it to still be good. It just was so amazing. Ahhhh

Booked on a Feeling was the mushy romcom I needed to get me out of my reading slump!

This book gave so many feel good emotions as our two main characters slowly realize that their friendship is turning into something so much more. Friends to Lovers is one of those tropes that I really can’t get enough of and this book brought it in the best way. The slow realization followed by two very different reactions was just the absolute best.

This is definitely what I would consider a soft romance. The characters have a very sweet romance and the spice level is mild. Overall a book I definitely enjoyed!

DNF at 20%. I wouldn't say this is terrible, but I found it really hard to connect with the story and therefore was very bored. We had mutual pining that seemed sudden, but we had no setup for these two and we were dropped right into the story. How were these two friends? What was Lizzy's connection with the town of Weldon? 20% and I felt like I had too many questions with no answers.

It felt like there was no meat to the story and for that, I figured maybe this isn't for me.

thank you to netgalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the arc!
