Much better than I anticipated! A fun exploration of qui Gon and obi wans relationship. And an indictment of corporate influence on government and using prisoners for slave labor that made it much more relevant to today than I expected.

Overall I loved reading Master & Apprentice and I had trouble putting it down. The story is intriguing and draws you in to new characters while deepening relationships already established in the films. I knocked it one star because it seems to somewhat conflict with other parts of the Star Wars modern cannon, but if you can look beyond that, great read.

the audiobook of this was great! made it feel like liam neeson was actually narrating qui-jon, honestly i think that shows the talent of the actual narrator.

this book was fine, however. it wasn't the best star wars book i've read so far, but i still enjoyed it mostly. i love obi-wan, and it was nice to see him as a padawan and his relationship with qui-jon. a solid read overall!
