Poppy is back with book three of the series out of the four books. This one is again a decent story in an interesting story ark, it is good to see the Chinese heritage gets a bit of a run here, it could be more utilised in out story telling.

Ok so it is simplified and idealised but it gives some important points about history in it;s simple plot with good, likeable characters. It's too short and easy to contain more than that. It's gently anti-racist in a grounded in history way. It's a good starting point for Australian history. It reads very easily and is positive in outlook.
