I liked that it was a short read and didn't drown in details. It gave a good simple backstory of the beast and the povs of a couple other characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it was one of the first books in this series that I read, even though it was the second one in the series. And yes read the first one then this one again for the story to make sense! But thoroughly loved reading the story from the beasts point of view

This book isn’t great and I hate to say that about authors because it isn’t easy writing a book. However I didn’t feel for the beast or his transformation. It felt more like an Odd sisters introduction. Fairest if them all was fun and I enjoyed it but this one not so much.

I don't really know what to say about this. I feel like everything about this book fell short. The whole book was centered around trying to convince you how cruel and heartless the Beast was as the Prince. and then in the last 3 chapters of the book he just seemed to miraculously fall in love with Belle. I Know it's is the story from the Beast's side, but I was hoping for more involvement with Belle and more details on what made him fall in love with her. not just "she loves books and I've always like girls who do whatever I want".

Interesting story from the beast point of view. Short and quick not much to it. I am not saying it was a bad story , just expect a very quick read. This book is a follow up to Villains #1 which was better , will see how #3 is.
