As it was only 22 pages or something, I was not very interested, the wording went over my head and I really didn’t understand the themes. I know in long form Dostoyseky is really good but I did not really enjoy this short story.

enjoyable, and basically straight to the point. this short story is in theory an interesting premise, but for me personally just kinda falls flat. the idea of the dead having a second chance to mull over their lives, but instead going back over the same talking points in life is thought provoking. but upon reading it, i just found it...average. for dostoevsky and what he's capable of, its down there for me, so its simply just an average short story with a reflective premise that could've been better done.

the wit here made me laugh! a lot of satirical language and jokes that were good. the interactions between the dead were cool too, but there were a lot of names to keep up with. it would’ve been a lot better if there was more of it but for what it was, it was good!
