I get what the author was trying to do, showing the unraveling of a woman whose husband leaves her for a younger woman and how this situation is worsened when you lose your identity in a relationship but
I could not like this, when I was stressed to the max, during the middle section, when she's unable to take care of her young kids and dog. I was so anxious for them and I didn't like that the dogs death caused her to come out of her fog. I also didn't like her ending up with the neighbour, it was so random and honestly, unnecessary for her character arc
