I first read this in its short story form as part of a LGBTQ+ anthology of short stories. I think it translated beautifully into a longer story, and I’m glad to have gotten to spend a bit more time with these characters.

I absolutely love Wil and Jake they are the best thing in this book aside from Ruth.

I totally love how it was set in 1909 and yes there was the mindset of most people in that time mentioned it wasn’t whole book yet wasn’t also forgotten

Did not feel like a 492 page book, could have had more, I could not put this book down. So cute and fun.
