Short and Sweet

This book managed to fit a lot into a short story. I enjoyed the evolution of Kat and Tristan's relationship. Some parts were rushed. I would have liked it to take more than two meetings before his kids got attached and the ending felt really rushed but overall I enjoyed the story.

Breaching the Contract is feel-good office romance with fun characters and wit. Kat's inner dialogue kept me chuckling through most of the story and I really like that this isn't an instalove romance. The fact that Tristan and Kat don't fall into bed immediately and spend a big portion of the story avoiding that very thing is one of the things that adds to the story. There is a rather unnecessary plot twist toward the end that almost seems to be thrown in for the sake of a bit of angst to this otherwise light-hearted tale, leaving the ending feeling a bit rushed to resolve the issue. Other than that, the book is well-written and entertaining, with a charismatic pair and a couple of sweet kids, making this perfect for a fun afternoon read.

5/5 Stars!!!
This was my first book by Chantal Fernando and it was amazing. I will for sure be reading more of her books in the near future.
I really enjoyed this office romance it was short and sweet. Katerina and Tristan were great for each other and their chemistry was undeniable. Tristan is a widower and a single father to two adorable kids. I liked how Katerina was so caring and affection towards Tristan's kids. This book was heartwarming. In the end, Katerina and Tristan got their HEA. I cannot wait for the next book of the "Conflict of Intrest" series.

**Received book as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a quick, fast paced read with a fun story, likable characters, a lot of sweet and a nice amount of sexy. Awesome way to kick of a new series. I totally enjoyed it!

There was a good introduction so you get a great feel for the characters right away and then we're off. I loved Tristan, he’s kind of gruff on the outside but so sweet when you get to know him. I really liked Kat, she was determined and such a hard worker. I like how they meet, the complication of working together they face, and the growing heat and attraction they have. It was really entertaining and I liked how it developed. I really enjoyed Tristan's kids as well and the sweet way they played into everything.

The writing is really good. It’s not super deep but there’s enough substance to get you really invested and rooting for Tristan and Kat. The story is told from Kat’s POV and I liked her voice. I still felt like I knew Tristan however, what he was thinking and how he was feeling with the way the author described him, which was awesome. There was also some drama I didn't see coming that added a nice amount of tension which I enjoyed. Great ending and really good epilogue.

It's definitely a light read with an entertaining vibe and I totally enjoyed it. I liked all the characters that were introduced, loved the romance happening between Tristan and Kat, and am looking forward to more in this series. It might have been short but it was solid and gave me just what I needed... a sweet romance that was sexy and fun!

Another success by Chantal Fernando!!!

I'm not big into office romance books, but I thought I'd make an exception since Breaching the Contract was written by one of my FAVORITES.

How did I not know there was a single dad in this?!?! Little Logan was just TOO CUTE.

Breaching the Contract was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. I only wish it could've been longer!!!

A very quick and fun read. Unfortunately a little too short for me to fully connect to the characters, but overall engaging and a unique plot. Definitely curious enough to read the next book on the series.
Solid 3.5

Kinda quick romance with not much drama. Couldn’t feel the chemistry or connect with the characters.

I really tried to get into this story, giving the authors writing style another chance. I was really unable to stay in the story. The pace was really slow at times and I kept getting distracted.

I have been a huge fan of Chantal Fernando for years, and with Breaching the Contract, she brings you something fun, hot and one of a kind! A chance encounter leads to finding out you work together leads to some sizzling moments between Tristan and Kat. I really loved the flow of this story as well. You get a unique storyline with some hilarious moments as well as some emotional ones. I love the banter between Kat and Tristan as well. She keeps him on his toes!
Overall, this novella really packs a punch and leads you up to the next in the series! It is a fun read and gives you everything you need to keep you on your toes! So excited for this new series!
