Very funny, but also very obvious it is based on a one-woman comic stage show. In many ways it reads more like a transcript than a memoir, which is probably fine for those looking to experience the monologue-style set-ups. It was difficult to find an excerpt that was appropriate (both language and content) to include in a presentation, and that was disappointing. I wish there had been depth to balance the fast-talking brashness, but it's entertaining for what it is.

Carrie Fisher will always be a comedic genius and this book is no different. I loved the audiobook and the stories she chose to include for this book are fabulous. As we all know, she absolutely did pass under the moonlight strangled by her own bra

After Fisher passed away, this audiobook topped the list of popular audiobooks on the library app, Hoopla. Carrie Fisher, herself, reads the memoir (which adds a whole new level to the reading).

The memoir is brutally honest, laugh out loud funny, and heartbreakingly sad. Fisher's story is a story of fame, sex, alcohol, drugs, mental illness, and shock therapy. Definitely an interesting read.
