Do not miss out on this amazing book. This is the first book (fingers crossed for many, many more) by the writing duo of Piper and jack Davenport. If their writing compatibility is an example of the marriage-=it must be amazing!!!!!! I had a difficult time figuring out where one writer finished and the next began. Enough praising the writing duo and on to the book, because, after all, that is what you really want to hear about.

What makes this book so much better for me is that it steps away for the rockstar norm. The storyline didn't need over sexed, drunk and drugged out band members. That isn't to say that there isn't sex or drinking. It just isn't what makes the story.

The budding romance between Bam Bam, drummer a lesser band, and Lucy Nelson, daughter of a rockstar legend is what makes the story so addictive. She avoids Rockstars. He avoids relationships.

Bam Bam screwed up and now has to convince Lucy that his band is the right choice to open her dad's comeback tour. His band hates him. Their manager is not to be trusted.

And just when you thought things are going well, Bam Bam's past comes back to haunt him. Thrills, chills, and more shockers kept me flipping page after page to see what happened next. Loved it to the last page. I only have one question--How long until the next book????

Oh, and icing on the cake--there is a little crossover with Dogs of Fire. YUM YUM!!!

I absolutely loved this. Lucy was funny and sweet and I liked that she wasn't all about the drama or didn't really ty too hard to push and pull in a relationship. Oh and let's just take a moment to smile because I loved how sweet and not rockstar like Bam was. He was not your stereotypical rockstar and he was for a perfect rockstar hero. One I can get behind.

This has that instant connection/Love feel that didn't seem fake or forced

It had likeable H and h which is hard to find

And it had the spice I like with a great story. Seriously a win win yet again Piper knocks it put of the park

I really enjoyed this book and as an added bonus it was already on my kjndle so I must of got it when it was on offer before. This story focuses on Lucy who is the daughter of two rock stars (her mum was hilarious) and drummer of the band roses of Anna Bam. I loved how their relationship developed and how he wasn’t a typical rock star persona. I’m looking to reading the next one.

Loved it

A definite five star read, as you learn about Lucy & Bam. You learn about their childhoods and their adult lives.

I recieved a copy of this book for an honest review. I will start off by saying that I don't typically read musician books because they typically dont hold my interest. But I really enjoyed this book! Lucy and Bam have amazing chemistry and it was so much fun to read their story. This was defiantly a page turner and I read it almost in one sitting. This books has great rock elements, romance, suspense and humor. I loved the cameos from her other books and I can't wait to read the next in the series.
