I read this one in one sitting in a couple of hours at the library. Was pleasantly surprised to see a British setting for a Point Horror.

I thought the reveal was going to be

Alex. Then I thought it was going to be Lizzie. Even though she had no opportunity, just because that's a popular Point Horror trope. It was pretty cool that it was an actual supernatural event. But I was a bit annoyed it seemed that she was back together with Alex at the end. He just seemed like a jerk. Reminded me of The Companions which was written later than this.
