This was smut just smut. Some would even say it was mafia porn and they wouldn’t be wrong . I don’t know why Gianna and Matteo love each other because they don’t talk all they do is have Sex and fight . Gianna was amazing in the beginning and I really liked her but she got very annoying as soon as Matteo found her and even though I kinda like Matteo I don’t understand his reasons at all? The plot was hella messy like there wasn’t even a coherent plot just some deus ex machina shit and I don’t know anything about the mafia but I doubt that the mafia works like this. There were so many things that annoyed me. Like the innocence of the girls , that they were just trophy wives and had no agency and the boys were hella toxic . And I’m not someone who doesn’t enjoy a good toxic relationship - because I do . But this was just horrible and they power balance was completely off . The tragedy is that I could have enjoyed it a whole lot more if the author would have given Gianna more agency , would have made her more badass and less annoying . Because I would have loved to read about a badass mafia couple that slays their enemies together.

Este libro solo me confirmó que Matteo es el mejor de los Vitiello. Y Gianna... es terca la muchacha, pero me agradó, fue un buen contraste con las protagonistas anteriores.

Son tal para cual, literal.

I didn't like Gianna in book 1, so wasn't looking forward to reading her cry baby antics for an entire book, but she grew on me.

I wish more than anything that
Spoiler Gianna could’ve been able to escape Mateo, but alas.

Matteo & Gianna are definitely my favorite characters! They were made for each other and I loved that this story was different from the others. We had somewhat more of a plot with Gianna running off to Europe & I admired Matteo for actually wanting to try with their relationship unlike the other two books. It wasn’t the most thrilling book and I do wished we saw more emotional aspects than sex and refusal to admit feelings. Best of the series thus far but still lacking.

Se que hay un orden en los libros, pero esta parejita me cautivo desde el libro de Aria y Luca que no me resistí a leerlo primero

I love Matteo and Gianna way more than Luca and aria. Also more entertaining.
