Only complaint I have about this book is that it isn't longer.

HP movie fans, this book is a must-read!
Beyond The Wand is charming, witty, and heartfelt.
Get to know Tom Felton himself, and some behind-the-scenes looks at his unique upbringing during the making of one of the most popular movie franchises.
We learn of his life before, and beyond. There is so much positivity here towards his family, those he worked alongside, and people who saw him out of dark times.
Recommended!

I'm not usually one to read memoirs (despite having many on my TBR), but this one in particular I felt I needed to pick up, and I'm so glad I did.

I read this at exactly the time I needed to, for a variety of reasons, and I have to say, I'm really glad I decided to pick this up.

For those of you who don't know, Tom Felton played Draco Malfoy in the HP movies, but the memoir is about more than his time there. He walks us through various important moments in his life and how they impacted him, along with the people who played a role in those moments.

This book is very authentic, real, funny and full of all kinds of good lessons and interesting insights into Tom as a person - where he came from, how he got to where he is, etc. and I really enjoyed reading it.

The thing I'm finding I really like about memoirs is that you realize that no matter your background or your successes or where you came from, we're all human, all have struggles and that makes everything that much more relatable.

Well done.
