Wow wow wow. Never have I ever thought that I would enjoy a memoir so much. Not only did Tom share nostalgic memories of his Harry Potter days, but also important memories from before in his childhood and later in adulthood. He stressed the importance of not stigmatizing mental health, therapy, and rehab. I was in awe of how he was able to write his story, making me laugh with subtle Potter puns, think deeply when he is talking about his own mental struggles, and smile when remembering the scenes he talks about in the Potter films. I recommend to EVERYONE who loves HP as much as I do. Wow.

I originally thought this was only going to be about Tom's adventures within the Harry Potter world but it was so much more than that. He gives insight on his life before HP, during the magical fun of Hogwarts and his struggles trying to find himself after. It was funny, touching, and even emotional. Love hearing the behind of scenes. I'm totally interested in watching some of Tom's work outside of Harry Potter.

As a huge Potterhead, I didn't really care for Tom because I didn't connect with him. I also hated Malfoy from the books and the movie so that definitely didn't help...LOL

On a more serious note, reading about his life before and after Harry Potter has been an eye-opening experience.  I absolute adored how raw and authentic he was. Some moments had you laughing hysterically, and others had you balling. However, his experience was like a guide for the reader to draw lessons from. Though we lead very different lives all the struggles he faced were relatable. Such a good read!
