Very straightforward and detailed studies interpretation on how to improve egg quality and the last chapter is dedicated to sperm quality as well. I wish it was even more informative on the sperm side, but egg quality-wise this book has very valuable rich information about how external environmental factors, diet, lifestyle, and nutrients can directly impact fertility. It's also a must-read for those who are going through more than one cycle of IVF or IUI, so you can try some adjustments on both partners 90 days prior to the next try. Implementing scientific-based advice and studying the findings are proven to have a big positive impact on the outcome.

Very dry to listen to on audiobook, better to get a summary of the information somewhere

A decent overview of the research around egg quality, applicable to those not using IVF as well. I didn’t like that it started off with the chapters on plastic/phthalates; it feels like fear mongering to me. I thought the chapter on insulin resistance was somewhat outdated- no mention of walks after meals, eating outside, or eating pickled food with a meal, or protein amounts/combos to lower the effect of carbs. I still have a hard time believing bran cereal is “better for you” than potatoes.

This is a good overview of things to consider when looking to work on fertility. The book was easy to read and pretty thorough.
I appreciated that there was a section on sperm quality that pretty much stands alone, so you can give it to a partner to read without them missing out on too much.
The author isn't a medical doctor, so I'm not taking this book as gospel, but I found the book interesting and it seems to corroborate and expand on topics I have seen from doctors in this area. I really appreciated the balanced, factual and research based approach.
