I read this fairly quickly but didn’t love it as much as Harlem Shuffle. The stories were really captivating but was quite fast-paced at times that it was confusing as to what was happening or how it connected to the wider plot. It did all come together by the end with the different storyline’s crossing over and had interesting commentary on the wider corruption of government and the impacts this has on the community in Harlem.

An utter delight to return to this world, these characters.

Moved much better and more quickly than Harlem Shuffle, but ultimately I still don't find the world of Ray Carney all that interesting.
