Something about this book's structure felt deeply off. I am not sure what happened at the end exactly, and am therefore unsure of why Watson must now hate Holmes. It might be cleared up in the next book -- a book I am likely to read, but with less enthusiasm because of the mess of this book.
Probably also, the amount of time spent trying to get Jamie and Charlotte together was off putting for me.
Fine, but not great. Confusing, and therefore irritating. Reading on, just in case.

Not my favorite so far in the series. I hope the author is building this duo dynamic to something more than will they won't they.
