Read this one for Unhinged Romance Book Club.

This book was cute enough, but also I’m not gonna lie it was kinda boring — especially near the end. They get to the smut real fast and don’t let up. Every time I wanted a little more plot of any kind, I instead got more sex scenes. My brain damn near turned off every time they were fuckin because it happened CONSTANTLY. The primary will-they/wont-they fall in love conflict is resolved about two thirds of the way in, so the entire rest of the book feels more like a happy-ending epilogue with no stakes than anything.

Oh my GODDESS!!!!

Kathryn NEVER fails to deliver, and Games with the Orc is NO exception. This MIGHT be my favorite book of hers. She always writes such amazing sex-positive books, never tiptoeing around the idea of secret desires and kinks. All four books of hers that I've read have had some element of sex work, and she approaches it in such a way that it normalizes the profession and reduces stigma.
GWTO is a very sweet, HIGHLY spicy book that dives into the exploration of dark desires, touch in primal play, BDSM, role playing, and more.
Sunny is a creative woman who secretly longs for something more, and something darker. After her best friend (who honestly seems like the best) points her in the direction of the Monster Smash Agency, she meets Khell, a dominant, sexual, and surprisingly sweet orc. What starts out as a week-long arrangement quickly blossoms into something more.
I really hope Kathryn continues this series. It was incredibly sweet, sensitive, and sexy. The characters were likeable and relatable. Where can I find myself a sexy cinnamon roll orc???
