I loved this story. I love Lucille and Winona and I love their relationship. The beauty behind them only having each other is inspirational and heart-warming even when they were betrayed by others. I'm so glad I decided to pick this up randomly. The story feels so real because the characters are likeable and relatable.

Fun!!! I love some girl power homoerotic friendship.  It was kind of oddly paced. A good story but definitely nothing gets resolved I found myself wondering where the other half of the book is.

The plot was compelling but I didn't like the characters, I pitied them at times but I couldn't "bond" with them, and that's more important to me than a compelling plot. I especially didn't like Winona..And there were too many "as-if" moments where they got away with a bit too much in my opinion.

The two (and a half) stars are because I love the best friends on an adventure theme and adrenaline inducing "we're gonna get caught" moments

This was entertaining, although probably not for everyone. I loved these girls' dedication to each other, and their ability to dream of a life of more and better despite all the pain and disappointment they've already experienced. There are definitely some cringeworthy aspects that sensitive readers might find objectionable, but other will find it a fun, thrilling, over the top Thelma and Louise meets Superbad.
