Penelope and Colin. I don't remember Colin having such a hot cold personality, but the balance with Penelope made this relationship work for me. The dialogue in this one is spot on. Also, if you're a fan of Eloise, she is a star in this novel.

This was cute but I'm not sure if I liked it because I like the show or because I thought it was legitimately a good book.

Ok...still loving all of these.
Except I missed a VERY MAJOR PLOT POINT in book 3 that had me VERY CONFUSED for this entire book and now I want to re-read books #3 and #4 to see where I turned....clearly my reading comprehension skills are being tested with these.

I had high hopes for Colin's book in the series, I was finally waiting for one man in this series to not be a complete asshole. He wasn't as bad as the others, by far, but there was one scene that rubbed me the wrong way. I'll forgive him simply because, even with one iffy scene, comparing him to the others makes him a saint. I also appreciate how we solved the Lady Whistledown mistery in this book but I do wish it had stayed secret for a little longer.
