In a fit of whimsy, I hereby announce I will give everyone five stars, but the reviews may not reflect it.
Not bad. I have to be honest, I had high expectations due to Hitchhiker's, so this fell a bit flat at time, more like an extended version of one of the Monthy Python's lesser skits. It was also an audio play and therefore abridged, so maybe there was much lost in the adaptation. I'll likely read the book just to find out. Certainly wasn't bad though and had a good cast.

I'm working on the 1,001 books to read before you die and came across this series. I also saw this on something else. I thought the previous Dirk Gently book was okay so I thought I would give this a listen. It wasn't a bad read, but I think there are plenty of inside jokes that I did not get. I thought the use of Thor was interesting and it did make me think of American Gods.

Sheer brilliance performed by a competent cast. Fantastic for my trip.. enjoyed it so much.. Had to make sure I didnt laugh out too loudly...

Enjoyed this one a little more than the first, possibly because I knew some of the characters better. I liked that Norse mythology was incorporated. Narration was good.
