Not terrible, but pretty typical. Shimana is an okay heroine. I like Zen. Fujiwara is interesting. Asahi is an annoying love interest though. He's not very cute, and he's emotionally unavailable. It makes all of Shimana's squealing over him pretty irritating. I'm honestly a little over love triangles like this. 3 stars.

this manga had me giggle out loud at times, and let me just say: I don’t usually express emotions while I’m reading because I’m too invested. unless it’s really sad that I would cry, or I’m so happy I would squeal.

but this was such a fun read! I LOVE EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER IN THIS MANGA SO FAR!

and I’m so excited to meet all the new character, and can I just say the cover art is just beautiful!

the plot is also pretty fun so far, right now I’m craving some light novels. and this is just that. I love it!

to be honest, I almost cried at the part when shimana went to see her parents and they had to say goodbye. it’s so bitter sweet.

though I must say even though I know it’s purposely humorous, but the way Shimana kind off treats Taiga (I think that’s his name

I thought Dreamin' Sun Vol. 1 was fun and enjoyable to read. I didn't go in with any expectations as I think that a great author makes someone who can do different things and branch out with their ideas and characters.

Yes, there were some weird moments in this one but I think that makes it different to Orange. It's more strange, eccentric and humorous.

I have a feeling this book is more about maturity and growing up to do. It has a lot to offer with the beginning we got here.

I hope to get to know more about the characters in Vol. 2. I definitely want to read more of this series to see where its going.

This was a good start to a new series. It wasn't anything super special or new, but I liked the character building so far.

For now, a 3.5. It definitely has potential and although I felt the beginning was rushed, I will continue to read!
