I found the third book in this series a bit of a let down. I will still read the fourth book when it comes out and I like the series as a whole - but I found my interest wavered as I read this book. A lot happens but nothing happens.

It was a good book. A bit more angsty than previous books, but a good addition to the lore being established in this series.

WOW! It took me a bit to catch back up to the trail of the story, but once I did....WOW!
Olivia/Joanne is still dealing with her dual-sided Light/Shadow self. Now she has an otherworldly being trying to become her. AND she has biotch Shadow Regan doing everything she can to take over her life, too, including Ben, Jo's man.
The story moves along at a clip and I decided to get on to the next in the series so I won't lose the thread. I don't want to lose this.
Highly enjoyable and recommendable.

Vicki Pettersson is seriously developing as a writer. The Touch of Twilight was for lack of better words, freakin' awesome. Her writing style is really impressive, and her story line definitely satisfies.

As if the Tulpa and the other Shadow agents aren't enough, Olivia/Jo is now being harrassed by a doppleganger bent on stealing her identity. I am a little bored with this series, but it did heat up at the end. The doppleganger is revealed to be a Tulpa of Zoe's creation, created to face off with the Shadow Tulpa. Regan was badly beaten but still hanging in there. She finally made the choice to cut Ben loose, but still hasn't given in to Hunter. Well she hasn't given in to the idea of a relationship with Hunter b/c she did give into the sex, finally! His appearance in the latest Shadow manual is a nice little twist to set up the next in the series.

I want more. Pettersson keeps you on your toes. Never disappoints. If you like anything concerning zodiac signs - and you like kickbutt heroines. I recommend this book. Start with #1 in the series - that so far is her best book. Killer twists and mindblowing characters. What's it like to be a superhero in vegas?

Easily the best book in the series so far. I physically was unable to put the book down reading through the night (and suffering the consequences of said bookbinge today)

I can't wait to see what else Vicki has up her sleeve. So different and so entertaining!

It took a long time to finish because I kept putting it down. For me it didn't start to get interesting until about halfway through. The story was good once it picked up but the obsessive 'romance' stuff wore thin.

Sure, it has some plot holes, but there are a lot of things to love about this book too. For example how about a heroine who knows she is beautiful and feminine but has realized that doesn't make her weak? That alone makes this worth a read. Of course, there are other reasons, but no spoilers ;)
