Well that’s one way to tickle the Cosmere fandoms fancy. Honestly impressive how well planned out this universe is and a real treat after finishing Mistborn Era 1

this was—

i just—

oh my GOD. my head is pounding and my brain feels like soup. i just finished this and i’m still trying to wrap my mind around what i read. i cannot BELIEVE brandon sanderson was sitting on this novella for over a decade before it was finally published.

this novella was only 155 pages, but i feel as though i just re-read the entire 2500+ pages of the original trilogy. the way this ties into the books is absolutely incredible. all those tiny details make so much sense now that i have this new information under my belt! oh my fucking god!

i loved reading about kelsier again—i missed him and his antics so damn much. and his reunion with vin… yeah, i sobbed all over again, and what about it? it was literally the perfect amount of closure, especially given how difficult their lives proved to be over the course of the series.

and the epilogue with spook? BRO. what the fuck is kelsier up to? i wanna tear my hair out, because of course this man was not going down without a fight. he’s determined to rejoin the world of the living no matter what the cost. and if we’re being totally honest, i cannot WAIT to see how this will play out in “The Lost Metal”. in conclusion, all the thoughts, head extremely full!
