Nora & Nash was a romance story I can say was completely unique! From the very beginning I was enraptured in just how intense of a connection they had - even with the circumstances of their meeting. Nash is a very famous musician who has been struggling to find his passion for music since his major heartbreak with his ex. As a remedy for the situation, his manager decides to bring on Nora has a back up dancer for Nash’s tour to get him to fall for her… only so she can break his heart to inspire Nash to create better music. I honestly didn’t know what to expect with this love story because of just how unethical this whole idea was. Man oh man do we get sexual tension, drama, heartbreak, angst & some honest to goodness TRUE love. Overall I really did enjoy their story, I just have to say the time jumps were a little much of a stretch for me. I felt like with each chunk of time that past in the end I was more irritated then excited about how their story was going to end. I also felt like Nash & Nora both had some pretty immature moments when the truth of this scenario came to light & I just wanted them to finally GET THERE with each other ya know? This was an angsty read for sure but if you love a good musician romance with lots of emotion then this one is for you!

What can I say about Nash and Nora? I was originally introduced to this couple after I read a later book in the series, so getting to go back and read the beginning of them was a journey. Getting to watch them fall in love and fall apart was something. Even knowing what was going to happen and hearing the pain that it had caused Nash, that didn’t compare to actually seeing it play out.

The story was entertaining and the characters are ones that I want to continue reading about. I’ve already read the third book in the series, but now I’m even more excited to move on to books two and four.

The romance between Nash and Nora was heartfelt and well paced. Watching them go from forced proximity to friends to actually having feelings for one another, then back to heartbreak kept me going. I enjoyed them chemistry and the cute moments they had both performing and not. Also, even when dealing with heartbreak, Nash still caring about Nora and wanting to comfort her was precious.

Founded on Goodbye is a good romance for someone who wants to have the HEA at the end, but doesn’t mind going through some scheming plots and heartbreak to get there. Can’t wait to start book two!

Let me start this off with the fact that I am not one to cry. I hate crying. It takes a lot to make me cry.

Rating: 100 out of 5 stars

Founded on Goodbye made me cry. Happy tears, sad tears. It made me feel everything through Nora’s shoes and I’m honestly in love with the book. About to force all of my friends to read it (@dev).

Every girl dreams of falling in love with a musician when they’re young (don’t lie, everybody had a singers poster in their wall that they absolutely kissed). Reading Nora and Nash’s story gave me that journey of falling in love with a pop star.

The ending??
Perfect… Absolutely perfect. I have no other words to describe it.

Considering reading this?
Listen to the wise words of Shia LaBeouf and “DO IT”.

Kat, thank you for this love story and for making me cry like a little girl.

You ever have a friend with issues get into a relationship you know they're not mentally prepared for? And all the things they tell you are kinda cringe? Yeah that's how it felt to read this book.

This book is all the feels that one looks for in a romance. It is a rollercoaster of devastating and sweet at the same time. The ending did feel rushed to me but not in a way that the story didn’t work out, but just that you wanted more. A little more detail and a little more time. It was good though.
