Very good book but very confusing :/to leave it in such a cliffhanger. talk about frustrating...guess I'll start right in to the last one now..The Death Cure...and then go for the prequel The Kill Order

God, I am so glad that I started reading this series! I am hooked!

I also definitely see why the main trilogy is the favourites of those who have read them, I’m finding myself more invested in the lives of Thomas and the other Gladers than I was in the characters from The Kill Order.

I liked that with this book there was the introduction of the new Variables and the presence of Group B as a competition to the Gladers was an interesting parallel. Also seeing the Cranks before they are too far gone was a really interesting point, that I found made the idea of the Flare a lot scarier.

I have half a mind to start the last book now, but I also want to save it so that I haven’t rushed to the end! And I haven’t felt like that about a trilogy in years!

At first it was slightly boring for me bcs of the differences btw the book and the movie. I’m much rather watching the movie. The only thing i enjoyed in this book was the complexion of the characters especially Thomas, Teresa and Brenda. Their relationships was complicated but it did grab my attention into reading it. But overall it was okay but not something i was expected of. I was hoping it was more like the movie.
