The problem I have lately with graphic novels is liking both the graphic style and the story at the same time.
While this time I liked the graphics, I couldn't connected with the story at all. Bloom is a boy who travels between some dimensions and gets to be friends with Gloopy, a fantastic character. To me, the action in this book happens all of the sudden, there are no explanations about what is happening or who are the characters. It felt confusing to me from start to the end.
I'm still searching for a good graphic novel to fall in love with, although it's hard :D

I wish this book had been as gorgeous as the art is by itself. The art is phenomenal - abstract and whimsical and fluid. Yet the storyline, while initially interesting, became repetitive and disengaging.

Beautiful artwork but I wish the narrative was a bit stronger.
