The audio for this was not good. I cringed, a lot. I’m not sure why I committed to finishing it.

I love YA romance usually but this did not do it for me. I didn’t really care about any of the characters or the storyline.
Spoiler The whole cheating on brothers repeatedly got old really quickly.

If you read this, I don’t recommend doing the audiobook.

I am not quite sure what I am going to rate this yet because I both loved and hated this book at the same time. I'm not quite sure what I want to say yet either, but I am definitely going to review this book.

Because yeah, it's definitely one of those books.

You'll either love or hate this book and I LOVED it. Katie Cotugno's first novel blew me away and this one did that and more. Many people will shy away from it due to the fact that there is cheating in the book. However, and while I in no way condone cheating, the way Cotugno presents the protagonists struggle will have you rooting for her throughout the entire novel. And it's not really about cheating, it's about how sometimes you run back to what's familiar even though you know it's not right. I loved it so much.

ADDITION 5/8/2018: Reread May 2018 so I can read 9 DAYS AND 9 NIGHTS. and it still baffles me that this book was so hated. So many people want neat and tidy love stories. Love is so much more complicated. It’s messy and hard and yeah, love can make you do stupid, stupid things over and over and over again. And that’s exactly why I love every single Katie Cotugno novel. It’s never saccharine sweet. Her books are complex. They are gritty. They are messy. And most importantly, they are REAL.

This book is difficult to rate. The concept is interesting and the writing style was too. Furthermore, the daily chapters and how they mostly consist of a few scenes/lines only was something new and I liked it. I mentioned before that I don´t like time jumps and, with this book, it really felt like a steady and consistent progress. This does mean it get´s a bit lengthy at times but in real life not every day is exciting too.

I wouldn't say that I had a huge problem with the whole cheating thing for this was the reason I started this book at first. I was expecting it. Yes, it made me feel uncomfortable sometimes, but isn't that what everyone speaks off atm? Reading books out of your comfort zone? I picked this book up to gain a new perspective; one I have never read off before. I got that which is why I liked this book in the end, but nevertheless, I was not that invested in the story and I felt kind of happy when it was over. So 3s it is. A solid book, but definitely not a must read.

the only reason this book gets two stars instead of one is gabe. but seriously reading this book made me want to scream. it's like the author wanted everyone to hate the main character.

I'm thinking more like 3.5ish, but for GR, I'm bumping it up to 4 because I really felt panic and anxiety a few times that I had to put the book down.

I wasn't thrilled that the MC described herself as soft and fleshy every few chapters because she was out of shape.
