With this volume I am officially OBSESSED with Soul Eater!!!! The souls are so freaking cool. Kid is my favourite character and I love the relationships between the weapons and the meisters!

*** Absolutely not for children
Like the first volume, I really liked this one. However, it was slightly worse than the previous one. I really like all the characters and the universe that is Soul Eater manga. There's only one of the gods of death who is very careful with this phobia of symmetry that I don't like. I can't wait to continue reading this series.

Loved even more! Especially with a formal introduction to Stein, my favorite teacher. He’s so weird and unsettling, but the chair gag gets me every time. We also start into the main plot with an introduction to our Big Bads and Corona, the awkward and lost Meister with an interesting skillset of his own.

A little less fan service and no questionable jokes this time around, plus some development for all of our Meister/Weapon combos bumped this to 4.5 stars!
