I really enjoyed it! It was short and fun and even though I read it in Italian (I really couldn't focus on the english version on the other side of the page) I loved it.
Definitely recommend for a short read.

A a well-written short story. I remember when I was in elementary. My teacher read (in our native language) this to us, but didn't really get to understand the whole story.

Last month, I came along a book sale on my local store and bought 13boks in total and this was the last book I gave to the cashier (Short story masterpieces). I was hesitant to buy it because I'm not into Literature type of a reader nevertheless I gave it a chance, and all throughout every chapter of this book it leaves me a astonishing lesson/knowledge of History. Might buy more classic books in the future.

"I had nothing in the world but a million pounds."

Published in the year 1893, Mark Twain's The Million Pound Bank Note is a short story about how a broke and hungry Henry Adams ends up with the Bank Note.

This delightful book takes us on a journey with Henry, who makes the best out of his "luck"!
