The Mercyverse is one of the best urban fantasy settings I've ever read. From worldbuilding to character development, everything blends together nicely and always leaves me wanting more.

In Soul Taken, Mercy must solve a mystery involving missing persons, when suddenly murders relating to an urban legend begin to appear. With bad publicity aimed at the Pack, it is even more important to get things resolved quickly. Mercy has to dig deep inside herself and learn quickly on her feet before things get really nasty.

Cons: It feels like there's no time for Mercy (or the reader) to breathe. With plot points piling onto the character's shoulders, the tension in my own got worse. (In hindsight, this was probably done intentionally, but still.)
