This story is so unnerving. Its context seems to be too strange to actually seem sensible but Franz Kafka brings it to life for you.

I can't find a book on here that actually only has Metamorphosis tht is published in 1915 since that is the version tht I read online. Nevertheless this review is only for Metamorphosis. I actually felt disappointed that Gregor didn't transform to a human back , I feel like it didn't made sense how the family were nonchalant with the death of Gregor too, being that they actually cared so much about him in the first part. Then again, I should have known, because famous European literature usually do end in tragedy. I have suffered loss in my life and unlike what is depicted in the show, you do feel a sense of dread tht didn't disappear and will linger around. If this is real life, his family would actually still remember and miss him (except maybe his dad because he is the reason the family got into debt). It was as if it didn't take into account real grief. The message of change with what happened with the sister is clear though and realistic. Overall I struggle to get through this book, lack of dialogue and you literally have to read word by word to not miss anything. I didn't like the book much, but I do accept it's message.

Ayo they did my boy Gregor mad dirty in this tale. No love as a man, no love as a bug, the moral of the story is always look out for number 1 and cut off your greedy family
