cryptidcorvid's review against another edition
somehow both pretentious and boring, i thought this would be an interesting exploration of the sociology of death, but it didnt tell me anything i didnt already know

Lots of interesting facts and findings and moments that made me think. Definitely more aware of the prevalence of death in my mind now when making decisions - specially purchases. Wish it didn’t fall into the current trap of a lot of non-fiction books where they repeat themselves over and over and veer on tangential but far reaching topics to meet word count.
