Close Pursuit started with a very unlikely premise: a kindergarten teacher who was sent into a war torn country to serve as an interpreter. Once the story moved into the US, it became much more plausible. The interaction between the characters was fun except for Alex's determined suspicion that Katie was a C.I.A. agent when she really never gave any indication that she was more than a smart woman. Otherwise, I really liked this book. The romance was in the forefront of the story throughout, a good light romance that was a quick easy read.
