I thought the story flowed pretty well. And for those who wanted to find out what happened to Cassie, it was a good story. I also liked how it tied up a couple of loose ends from the previous books. overall I liked the book so I am rating it as a 4.

That being said, I didn't really enjoy Cassie as a character. her character didn't make me root for her. she was very nieve which I understand why based on the back story, but I found out a little annoying at times. I just never really cared what happened to her. Plus I knew how it would end.

This was probably my least favorite of this series. It took far to long for the book to get going, and at 33% Bryan and Cassie still hadn't met. It's possible that part of that stems from I knew that Cassie needed to be found, but I just kept waiting and hoping for them to finally meet! As slow as the beginning moved, the next part of the book seemed to just fly by. Once they meet then everything goes to hell in a hand-basket, and I truly felt bad for Kellen, but I really wasn't sure why he was a part of the story. This story seemed like it was trying to cram too much in, there was the little snippets with Ryne and Melody, and Kane and Elise. It just felt a little forced, sure I want to see my favorite characters from other books but in a place where it makes sense. I did enjoy the ending with Cassie and Bryan. I'm also looking forward to Damien and Sam, and Daniel and Tessa. I think those two books definitely have the potential to be intriguing.

Interesting book overall. A bit too long though. Better towards the middle and end.

This was a whopper of a book and well worth the time reading it. The Finding, is the 3rd book in the Law of the Lycans series by Nicky Charles. This book picks up where #2 left off. I love the fact that the author pulled in all the couples and characters from the other books and wrapped them up in The Finding. I don't think it would have been as complete without them.

Cassandra Greyson had witnessed her Uncle being shot, his lawyer being attacked by a werewolf and before that happened heard her uncle say that she was one as well. This was all too much for the young Cassandra who has lived a VERY protected and sheltered life. Upon her escape she finds herself in an alley alone, cold and scared. Entering, Kellen Andersen, whom understands hard times and the need to start fresh. Kellen and Cassandra (aka Sandy)head out to start a life hidden amongst normal everyday people.

Kellen has a gambling problem, so living in Sin City is like dangling candy in front of kid. Needless to say he ends up causing more problems and bringing forth attention from the wrong people. Cassandra has done everything she can to keep a low profile and trying to figure out who she really is. She has no idea how many people want to get to her. Problems arise that are out of her control and it makes her confused and frustrated. She doesn't understand and is lacking the knowledge due to her upbringing. She can't talk to Kellen about what is going on with her because there is an ancient werewolf law, known as the Keeping, dictated that any human who discovered their secret existance faced possible extermination, which makes it all the more frustrating for Cassandra.

There are so many pieces to this story that all weave together perfectly. There is action, suspense, "mating", scandal, romance and so much more. I just loved this book! Like I said before, it is pretty thick, but well worth the time! This was a free E-Book from Barnes and Nobles! I can't do this review justice because there is just so much to it. I would recommend reading this series. It was a great story that kept me captivated.

The third book in the Law of the Lycan series. It was an enjoying read but nothing fantastic. I like the writing style and will probably read some more of her work.

Loved all 3 books and going to read the other 2 accompanying books. I usually go for vampire books and they usually happen to have werewolves in them but this was great just about werewolves. Totally recommend it.

Truly liked this book, it's a great read about werewolves and it has a great plot. Mel goes unknowingly to find out about a recluse so that she can finance her college education when she finds a hot sexy man with secrets. Ryne is also an alpha werewolf and a photographer. His ex girlfriend sold a photograph of a taboo werewolf picture that he wasn't supposed to have and now someone wants more information. You can read this whole series for a donation to an animal shelter and that caught my eye as well. Very good read!

The Law of the Lycans Series is a series of five books that explains the law of the Lycan Werewolves with a story behind it. Each story behind each law is good but I didn't like how the writer wrote the story. Nicky kept on repeating what I've already known. Yes I can understand the characters questioning things, but why do this in every chapter? It just drags out the whole story. I've also didn't like how Nicky kept referring the main character as a third person. The books Bonded and Betrayed was okay, but after that the other three books, the main character was she or her and not I or my. I think if you write a book from your characters point of view use that main character as a first person.

This doesn't mean I didn't like the stories of The Law of the Lycans, it just made it VERY HARD for me to read the books. Most of the time I skipped over what I already known. I did like the relationships each character had with each other. That part really pulled every book together. In one way are another each one of them knew each other and had a relationship.
