I wasn't expecting this to have the emotional resonance it did! I had a hard time putting it down, and I'm definitely holding onto my copy of this. The only reason it lost a star was because the ending felt a bit abrupt. (I could have used a little more happy in the ending, but there was enough hope to keep me going.)

What a delightful tale of female friendship.   As I get older I realize how dear my friends really are…glad these two generations of ladies discovered that too.

This story had a lot going for it, and there was a lot I enjoyed about it. But I never felt as if we got to know the characters very well, even the main character. And there were a number of things that I felt were out of character for the people who did/said them. An enjoyable diversion, but not one I would read again.

Definitely on the predictable side, but the characters were very well-written and a great read if you’re looking for something on the light-hearted side.

The last books I've read hasn't been the most inspiring books so I decided I needed something light and hopefully fun. This certainly fulfilled my wishes! I actually laughed out loud several times

Fun, entertaining read that ended up being surprisingly compelling.

I love the stories about women finding themselves outside of a romantic relationship.

This had saucy vibes, hard lessons, loss, friendship, and an ending I didn’t see coming. I laughed and cried and loved this book. I wish I could have read this earlier in my life. I think it would have saved me some time.

Didn't love or hate this book. I felt it had some missed opportunities. Ending was far fetched.

This book was such a missed opportunity. It starts out very interesting and original. Pretty soon it switches to new characters and never goes back. If the author had stuck with Gloria and her friends, I think I would have liked this book so much better.
