The main character, Banner gets upset when one of the clients partner's cheats on them and call them a wh*re, but then Banner cheats on her partner just cause she's not fulfilled in the relationship. Like talk to your partner (I forgot his name). There are constant flashbacks from college and that whole situation which I understand and Banner's insecurities with Jared. However, in the present you're still letting people get in your head instead of talking to Jared about what you're insecure about. (i.e when Banner's talking to her manager in the bar and he says Jared is going to hire her. Then she spirals talking about is he only doing this so she will become Jared's agent. Banner also presents like she accepts her body, but then has internalized fatphobia and counting calories.Graphic: Body shaming, Fatphobia, and Misogyny

imagine I started speaking and the Spanish keyboard was on so it wrote Soy instead of so and that killed me also banner speaks Spanish so I guess that it was on brand. Banner really is that bitch she is so cool and literally is helping me not eat my cravings and eat my feelings away. With Stevie, she kind of just ate whatever she wants but she still had a bangin bod like I know she did but with Ban she works so hard for her body that is what I’m going to do. Also, it made me realize that the perfect guy for you will love you regardless and the fact that he loved her back in college when she felt like she was fat and he still loves her, and he did his freaking vows in Spanish. The only sad thing was that he made her cheat on Zo, and even though he didn’t make her do it. She did Sleep with him so that was kind of sad but in the end it all worked out and I can’t wait for them to have plenty of bebes and be a big fat family with Iris and Gus and Sarai (also I love that name) it’s just so cute. I love him. And her🤭.Graphic: Body shaming and Fatphobia

This is book two in the Hoops Series by Kennedy Ryan and I must admit it wasn't my favorite one for the series. I love that Banner was not someone you could walk over because you thought she didn't fit in. She worked hard and was super smart.
The sport agency world is not easy for women, especially for a curvy, smart, Latina woman. Banner Morales could out smart the best of them, even the great Jared Foster. Jared's mistake from the passed ruined the chemistry she thought they had with him and she could no longer trust him. However, Jared manages to get under her skin again and she starts to think about what could have been. The only problem is she is currently dating her best friend who has been there since the beginning of her career. Banner has to choose between a decade old friendship and a lover who lit her insides on fire.
Moderate: Body shaming
