Really well written, i'd reread, lots of questions to explore and questions prompted from reading, odd reading second last chapters from a 2023 lens but also hey, look at all the new perspectives and info and contributions

Oliver Sack's books are always so interesting! I liked the premise of this one and Sack's empathetic and understanding view of his patients. very informative and interesting read.

A thoroughly engaging look at how our brains inform our perceptions and how our perceptions shape our brains. Stories of the exceptional and the extraordinary.

Pozrieť sa na autizmus alebo slepotu očami neurológa a spisovateľa zároveň je niečo úžasne pútavé.

This book is definitely an interesting portrait of various neuropsychological disorders. An entertaining read, but definitely geared towards those interested in both the story of the individual as well as the scientific background of the cases. It's written more for a layperson than those with previous knowledge, so some parts can be quite tedious for the latter. All in all, a typical Oliver Sacks book, though not as entertaining as some of the others I've read.
