A very thought provoking book. The decision between safety and adventure really resonated with me. Amazing that this book is still relevant more than 50 years after its release. I love the way Margaret Atwood writes, and was very satisfied with where the story took me.

Atwood carved out something of my gendered experience and left it out to rot. (It was good, if slightly painful)
Reminds me of food related feminist performance art from the same time, but in a good way?

Wow. This book. I was expecting to like it, but but this much. The first part of the book really evoked memories of reading Ira Levin stories. Beautiful writing, hilarious, slow creeping dread, sharp social commentary. What's not to love.
