I'm really enjoying this series. I love watching Evan and Jesse. They are in perfect sync even when they are fighting. They love each other that much. It's so awesome to watch. Trent grossed me out. And since I've read the blurbs for the rest of the series (I really shouldn't have), I had a hard time with Brandon and Shun. But I can't wait to read more.

The continuation of Jesse and Evan's story and the story of Conquest. They're back in the studios, set to record their second album, while Evan is going to record his farewell album. They are still hiding their relationship from the world. Enter in two new bands and their members and new conflicts emerge within Conquest as well. I am so in love with Jesse and Evan and their story is beautiful, nog perfect, but real. Looking forward to the next book!

Warning: Can cause a sugar coma.

I liked the structure of the story, but the continuous and contrived promises of mutual love were so edulcorated that it was a little hard for me to finish it.

The second book in the series starts off when Evan and Jesse get home after a yearlong world tour for playing their music around the world. Off the success of that tour they go back into the studio for the composing of their second album. Along with keeping their relationship still a secret they have all sorts of other issues standing in their way of their success. First off there is issues with the current drummer Trish, then two new bands are starting to record with their album label and each has their own issues with talent clashing between Conquest and themselves. Then there is the ever increasing pressure of being able to share their love whenever they want and not have to hide.

I am in love with Evan and Jesse. As their relationship continues to grow it is nice to see them getting to be with their soul mates. I am glad this was a series and I got to know them on a deeper level. I also love the dynamics of the band and all the other people in their lives. I especially like Jesse's brother Brandon and that he finally meets someone to love as well. I can't wait to read the rest of this series .

I give this story 5 stars.

A really refreshing sequel. I didn't read the blurb so expected the story to focus on a different set of main characters than the original pair of Jesse and Evan. However this was an extension of their love story and provided the very happy ever after ending! Nice parallel story of Brandon's search for love and introduction of some new characters. Jesse and Evan may be rock stars but this is definitely a romance and not focused on the hard rock lifestyle.

I liked this entire series, but truth told, I liked Black Heart Down even better.....

I loved this second installment of Jesse and Evan. Once again the characters drew me in and wouldn't let go until I finished the book.

The relationship keeps building and getting stronger. We're introduced to new characters again, but they enhance the experience, rather than taking away from the MC's. I admire SJ. Frost's ability to so fully engage me into the lives of the members of this band and their friends. I just can't wait to read the next installment!

This author pulls me through the books fast, and I like the characters. You definitely want to read Conquest before this one, but it was good to see all the guys again. I particularly have a soft spot for Brandon, Jesse's brother.

The romance is pretty idyllic. I wish my husband was half as sweetly eloquent as these guys in their loving moments, but I decided I could chalk it up to the fact that they are both song-writers and that made it work. I picked up Black Heart Down next, because I want to see how S.J. Frost does with characters who are maybe a little rougher-edged and less completely compatible. But I'll have to go back to Keys to Love later, because I do like Julian and want to see him get his man.
