we finally got the whole harem but it's not "offical" yet. I can't tell if I enjoy thr plot anymore becuade it's way to long. am I just bored of the long book? or am I bored of the plot?
I'll read the rest of them at so point.

Like I said in my first review from the first book . I bought the audible full series so im sticking with it to fall to sleep to. I don't like wasting my credits and I can pop this on and fall to sleep as easily as a meditation would send me off. Even though the male voices on audible are terrible.espically for the guardian warrior character who's name I can't even remember. I honestly can only rember snap (innocent one) who came across that the FMC took advantage of and omen (leader guy) couldn't even tell you how many are in her little harem I think 4 ?? Some parts of the book are good and the story gets interesting. But there seems to be a lot of nothingness happening. I don't know what it is that's wrong I don't know if it's the FMC that I can't get along with or that the books are so dragged out. I can't put my finger on what's lacking. Maybe take out the limited spice scenes and call it YA because i feel like i might of enjoyed this in my very early teens. The spice scene may as well be fade to black anyway as they are lacking detail and heat.
I feel like I'm missing something with looking at the other reviews.

“Never gonna give it up, never gonna fret and frown,” I sang into the quiet of the RV, ignoring the face Omen pulled in my direction. “Now we’re gonna run you down and see hurt through!”

this book dragged on a lil more than i would’ve liked. definitely had me speeding through some pages. but the parts i did obviously read were enjoyable. some big big steps happened with sorsha and each of her men. even mr grumpy pants over there.
some new shit comes to light that i’ll admit, EYE WAS WRONG! i thought i had it figured out but i was a step behind lol.
now, for the best phrases used in this installment in no particular order:
  1. holy mother of magma
  2. son of a shih tzu
  3. thank holy hamburgers
  4. sweet silky champagne
  5. holy heretic hounds
  6. fuck finicky flapjacks
  7. why in blue blazes

i love how creative supernatural books get with expletives

This one is mainly focused on the character development then the plot line definitely a filler book but still good! The plot stuff didn’t start to unreavel until the end of this book.

I’m very surprised none of the other guys teased Sorsha about the singed bedsheets and the implications of that
