Went in with average expectations, and it turned out to be a nice page-turner that I read in one sitting . Will be reading this series until the plot turns me off, which it so far hasn't, except: did Kate ever write that essay that she was assigned??

I read this book when I was studying Wicca as a teenager. I decided to read it again after reading Threadneedle because it reminded me so much of this series. So Mote it Be is a YA novel but I still love it. It reminds me of being so excited about learning about the Goddess. I'm not still a practitioner but it'll always have a place in my heart regardless. I love this series.

I first read this book during my university years, the year after its release (in 2002), many supernatural/ paranormal/ wiccan books came out between 2001 and 2005. This is one of many series I read those years, and one I have fond memories of (together with the Wicca/ Sweep series and the Daughters of the Moon series).

Reading it now, 12 years later (I feel old now :)), it hasn't lost its charm. Circle of Three is well written, an easy read and has actual characters. I can still relate to the main characters and the setting, which, in my opinion, shows the talent of the author (who, as Wikipedia now told me, is actually a man :-)).

Re-read in 2020: Okay, so my opinion changed a lot after 10 years. This book is actually a pretty wholesome book. Ofc it's not accurate, it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a fiction work. But even for a fiction work, it does get lots of point rights. And it's so cute to see teens just learning about Wicca and learning about the Craft and starting to walk the path.

I think it's a really nice chill book, especially for teenagers. And honestly, I loved re-reading it! :)

In this book we are introduced to 3 girls who seem to have nothing in common. By the end of the story we have discovered that even if people appear to be different on the outside they can have a lot in common on the inside. Isobel Bird has done a great job of giving these girls unique characters which aids us in seeing the path to Wicca from thier different points of view. [return][return]I enjoyed reading this book and went out to get the rest in the series as soon as I finished it.

This book is not just for anyone(not trying to hurt anyone) because its like for those readers that want to know in a fictional way about witchcraft. The books is hardcore right to the point in other words is fast pace the story start from the main characters "normal" life to a deep change thanks too... One needs to read it to know what I'm trying to say. I love this book sadly is only in eBook wish the author will comes back and decides to reprint them in a three in one paperback or hardcover book. This book I read it in high school never finished it and how I found it is a story to be told. Hope to find a hardcopy for this book someday.

Read this series in high school and loved it. Rereading it now, especially after having read a bit on Wicca is pretty nice.
